On July 21, 2022 (Thursday) at 18:00 Dobrich Art Gallery presents Yavora Petrova’s exhibition “Justification for the Time”. The exposition includes mainly graphics, paintings and drawings of the famous Bulgarian artist.
Yavora Petrova was born in 1957 in Sofia. She graduates in illustration and book design at the National Academy of Arts under the famous Bulgarian artists Prof. Hristo Neykov and Prof. Rumen Skorchev. She works in the field of drawing, graphics and painting. In her creative biography there are over 40 personal and dozens of group exhibitions in the country and abroad, the next one of which is in Dobrich Art Gallery. Her works have been presented in Norway, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Japan, etc. Her paintings are part of private collections and are present in graphic rooms of various art schools. A cycle of her graphics is owned by the National Gallery in Oslo, Norway. She is a winner of numerous awards, including the grand prize for graphics at the International contest “Massimo Ramos” in Spain in 1991.
