Paintings exhibition of Ilian Angelov

With a vernissage from 16:00 to 18:00 on 05.08.2021 (Thursday) Dobrich Art Gallery presents the Paintings exhibition of Ilian Angelov.

Ilian Angelov was born on March 4, 1964 in the town of Kavarna, but lives and works in Pleven.

In 1983 he graduated from the “Dimitar Dobrovich” National School in Sliven and received his higher education at the University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”- Veliko Tarnovo in “Pedagogy of Fine Arts”(1991).

 His artistic biography includes numerous participations in regional and national exhibitions, international plain-airs and joint projects. His works are in the possession of state galleries and private collections in Bulgaria, Romania, France, Germany and Russia. He teaches fine arts at the “Panayot Pipkov” National School of Arts in Pleven.

This is the tenth personal exhibition of the artist, in which he presents over 40 paintings. The main thematic highlights are the sea in its diversity (“After the Catch”, “The Lighthouse”, “A Tale of the Fisherman”, etc.), and human relations (“Friends”, “He and She”, “Chess Party” and etc.).
