Hall 10

The artworks presented in these halls include the period of 1980s -1990s. The fund is collected mainly through purchases and donations from the “The Earth and the people” Common Art Exhibitions 1982 and 1987, and presents some of the emblematic artists of the period. They bear new thirst for liberation of the artistic expression, for spontaneous reaction, for a modern lean on sensitivity. This art generation is widely represented in the collection.

In these halls are the works of the famous Varna artists Vanko Urumov, Kina Petrova, Milko Bozhkov and his virtuous portrait of the graphic artist Stoyan Tzanev. The painting is awarded on “The Land and the people” 1982. Here are also Stoimen Stoilov with the donated painting “Renaissance motive” and Yavor Tzanev with “Door”, donated by his wife on the in memoriam exhibition in Dobrich Art Gallery.
