“The Paper” plein-air officially ended with the exhibition opening on September 8th, 2022. Ten days and 50 works later, the “Traces and Imprints” 2022 project implemented by Dobrich Art Gallery presented the work of the artists from the days of the plein-air. The event became an attractive cultural focus in our city and the gallery halls were transformed into a work atelier for the ten participants. Different in perception, temperament and creative expression ways, the artists were united by the countless possibilities that paper provides. In Halls 1 and 2 visitors can see sculptures, graphic prints, drawings and collages from handmade paper made during the working process. Each of the artists donated their works, which will enrich the fund of Dobrich Art Gallery.

On the opening evening the halls of the gallery were filled with dozens of connoisseurs, colleagues, friends and citizens. The director of the gallery Nedko Nedkov thanked the participants and partners of the plein-air financed under the “Visual Arts” program of the National Fund “Culture” and realized with the support of the Dobrich city municipality, Villa di Poleta Hotel and in cooperation with companies from the city. On behalf of the municipality the mayor of Dobrich Mr. Yordan Yordanov shared the excitement of the successful plein-air, expressed readiness for institutional support for future events and thanked the participants for the messages they left.

The exhibition will last until September 27, 2022. Welcome!
