On the National Enlighteners’ Day the Ministry of Culture announced the winners of the National Award “Museum Educational Activity” for 2021. The award is given for contribution to the promotion of cultural heritage and arts through creation and introduction of museum educational programs. The award is established by the Ministry of Culture in accordance with a Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Education and Science signed in 2018 and presented for the first time in 2020. Awards are presented in the following categories: “Cultural Institute – National Museum/Art Gallery”,“ Cultural institute – regional museum ”,“ Cultural Institute – municipal museum/art gallery” and “Museum specialist from national, regional and municipal museum ”. Dobrich Art Gallery was awarded in two categories:“ Cultural institute – municipal museum /art gallery ”and “Museum specialist from a municipal museum/art gallery ” for the pedagogues Milena Aljabari and Galina Georgieva.
