On April 16, 2026 at 17:30 Dobrich Art Gallery presents the personal exhibition “Inner States” by Penka Dimitrova – Dambulova. The exhibition includes works created within recent years.
About the exhibition, the artist says: “Claude Monet’s words “I paint what I feel, not what I see” are an accurate description of the paintings that I show in this exposition. The exhibition explores painting as a process, not as an image. The form disintegrates, the color is freed from its descriptive function… I do not aim to show reality, but rather the way I feel it, creating a visual language of feelings. The meaning lies in the energy of color, the dynamics of line and form.”
