“The Paper – OTHER DIMENSIONS” Plein-air starts on August 26, 2026 at the Art Gallery – Dobrich!

For the sixth consecutive year, the Dobrich Art Gallery welcomes participants in the resumed international “Paper” plein-air. After winning a project funded by the Ministry of Culture in the session “Targeted Financing of Projects in the Field of Visual Arts” in 2025, the gallery team invited prominent artists from the country and abroad, as well as art critic Kalina Petrova, to participate. The project received financial support from the Municipality of Dobrich under the Tourism Development Program 2026. Our traditional partner in the implementation of the initiative is the Hotel “Villa di Poleta”.

During the upcoming 10 days of “open doors” you will be able to follow the creative process in the workrooms, take part in the exciting evening meetings with an opportunity for a personal conversation with the participants – Galina Halacheva, Galina Tsvetkova, Emanuela Kovach, Kalina Petrova, Milena Aldzhabari, Nikola Mihov, Nedko Nedkov, Sisi Peng – China, Stoyan Ilev, Hristina Gaeva and Tsvetan Krastev.

The event will end with the opening of a final exhibition on September 3 at 18:00. The work of the plein air will be documented with video and photo shooting and with the publication of a catalog.
