On November 13, 2025 (Thursday), the “Shared Moments” exhibition by Hristina Gaeva will be opened at Dobrich Art Gallery. The artist uses dry pastel as an expressive material for her plastic language and presents her graphic drawings to the Dobrich audience. The exhibition is part of the “Graphic Dialogues” Project of Dobrich Art Gallery within the framework of the “Dobrudzha – Cultural Compass: Tradition, Modernity and Community” Project of the Dobrich Municipality, funded by the National Fund Culture. On Friday, November 14, the author will introduce students from the “St. Kliment Ohridski” Secondary School to techniques and methods in graphic drawing with dry pastel.
Hristina Gaeva was born on March 03, 1980. In 2004 she defended her master degree in Graphics at the National Arts Academy, and in 2013 she defended her doctorate in Visual arts at the “Nicolae Grigorescu” University, Bucharest, Romania. She has had two solo exhibitions and numerous participations in national and international exhibitions. She is a winner of three awards for drawing and graphics.
About the current exhibition, the artist says: “Shared Moments” is an invitation to the viewer to stop for a moment, slow down the rhythm of their perception and experience the poetry of silence – that subtle vibration in which objects speak without words, and light unfolds as a gesture in space.”
